Area Sales Manager – Hire Products

Role

My client is looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager selling a range of non-mechanical hire and site safety products including scaffold boards, beams across Bristol, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. You will be managing and developing relationships with main contractors, subcontractors, developers, merchants and hire distributors. This is a field-based role focused on both account management and business development.

My client is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of scaffolding and safety products. Part of a major international group, they operate from 32 locations nationwide and have built an excellent reputation for service, product availability and technical expertise across the construction sector. Their customer base includes major contractors, housebuilders, merchants and hire companies, supplying products into projects across the UK.

The Person

My client is looking for a driven, ambitious and proactive sales professional with experience in a field sales role. Construction industry experience would be advantageous but is not essential. The key requirement is someone who is hungry to succeed, enjoys developing relationships and is comfortable managing accounts whilst generating new business opportunities.
