    Area Sales Manager – Insulation

    Role

    We are working with a well-established manufacturer in the Insulation sector (range includes Insulation Boards, Therm & Acoustic Insulation) . This business has a strong reputation within the industry and is looking to appoint a Area Sales Manager to cover the South Central region of the UK. Postcodes include OX, HP, WD, EN, HA N, NW, WC, UB, RG, SL, GU, SP, BH SO and PO. You will inherit an established region with a multi-million pound area.

    This is a key role, focused on building specification and commercial opportunities for a market-leading product range. You will be responsible for managing the region to achieve and exceed agreed sales targets while developing and maintaining strong relationships with Housebuilders, Main & Sub Contractors, Installers, Distributors and the Specification market.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage and grow relationships across an existing client base in your region.

    • Promote a diverse and high-performing range of technical building solutions.

    • Deliver CPD presentations to architects and specifiers.

    • Provide strategic input on market activity, pipeline forecasting, and sales performance.

    • Collaborate closely with internal sales and technical teams to ensure project delivery.

    • Maintain accurate records through the company’s CRM and follow structured call planning.

    • Maximise face-to-face client engagement with a strong field presence (4 days per week).

    About You:

    • A proven field sales professional with a background in building materials.

    • Experience working with merchants, contractors, or housebuilders.

    • Specification sales experience is highly advantageous.

    • Commercially astute, self-motivated, and well organised.

    • Confident presenter, capable of delivering CPDs and technical product discussions

    • Package includes 

    • OTE: 25% of salary (split quarterly and annually)
