Area Sales Manager – Plumbing & Heating – Ireland

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading manufacturer within the plumbing and heating consumables sector including tools, testing equipment and much more. You’ll sell heavily to national & independent plumbers’ and builders’ merchants including BSS, Wolseley, PTS, Plumb Centre/Chadwicks, and Fortis Buying Group members. Managing circa 200 existing accounts, your focus will be growing and reactivating lapsed business with a small element of new business. Covering Ireland with the ideal candidate living in Northern Ireland this region is performing well and has huge opportunity for growth.

Person

You must have experience selling to plumbers’ merchants or have worked within a merchant (field sales, internal sales or branch management will be considered). You will need to be driven, self-motivated and commercially aware. You’ll also be confident using social media as part of your sales approach as this is going to be a very proactive and hands on position.
