You will be selling the companies huge range of Plumbing products, of which they can offer some 4,000 lines. The products include brass / copper valves, fittings, pipes, push-fit, accessories, taps, brassware, consumables and much, much more. You will concentrate on selling into Independent Merchants / Buying Groups / National Merchants; Examples include MKM, UK Plumbing Supplies, Wolseley, PHG members. The region you will manage is Scotland & the North East of England. Currently this patch is being managed by an internal telesales team so it has great potential for growth. It currently does over £1m in revenue.

The important aspect here is somebody who understands how Merchants think & operate. I would be very interested in talking to candidates who are currently selling into Plumbers Merchants, or candidates who are working for a Merchant either externally or within a branch.
