    Business Development Manager – Concrete Repair

    Role

    We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading international manufacturer of building products, renowned for their innovation, technical expertise and strong presence within the construction industry. With a well-established brand, extensive product portfolio, and ongoing investment in people and technology, they are looking to strengthen their team with the appointment of a Business Development Manager for their Concrete Repairs division.

    This is a key appointment within a growing division. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Developing new business opportunities and growing market share in concrete repair and structural strengthening systems

    • Building and maintaining strong relationships with Specifiers, Specialist Contractors, Main Contractors, Distributors and Consultants

    • Monitoring account performance, setting objectives, and delivering regular reports to management

    • Promoting products through technical presentations, site visits, CPDs, and industry events

    • Recommending and implementing sales and promotional strategies to ensure growth within agreed budgets

    • Achieving and exceeding agreed sales targets and turnover objectives

    Candidate Profile

    We are seeking a highly driven and technically competent individual with a proven track record in the construction sector.

    Essential:

    • Strong technical knowledge of concrete repair and structural strengthening systems

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the construction marketplace, ideally within a manufacturer or specialist supplier

    • A demonstrable track record of delivering sales growth and managing key accounts

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills – able to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels

    • Excellent organisational, time management, and negotiation abilities

    • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel (including some overnight stays)

    • Competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    Desirable:

    • Experience using a CRM system (training provided if required)

    • Higher education qualifications or professional memberships in construction/engineering disciplines
