    Key Account Manager – Ceilings

    The Role

    My client is seeking a Key Account Manager to manage and develop relationships with some of the UK’s leading Main Contractors. Covering the UK, you will be responsible for promoting a market-leading range of ceiling solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with the design and pre-construction teams of major contractors such as Willmott Dixon, Laing O’Rourke and Kier. Typical sectors include education, healthcare, offices and other public and private sector developments. This is an account management-led role, focused on strengthening existing relationships, identifying new project opportunities and driving growth across key national accounts.

    My client is a leading manufacturer of acoustic ceilings offering a complete ceiling system that combines high-performance stone wool ceiling panels, suspension grids, accessories and metal ceiling systems. The business is renowned for delivering exceptional acoustic performance, fire resistance and sustainability credentials. They are a recognised leader within the interiors market and compete with some of the industry’s most established ceiling manufacturers. Due to continued growth and investment, they are now looking to strengthen their commercial team with the appointment of a Key Account Manager.

    The Person

    My client is looking for an ambitious and personable sales professional with experience selling into Main Contractors.  The successful candidate will be comfortable operating at a national account level, building relationships with key decision-makers and influencing specifications on major construction projects. Strong communication skills, commercial awareness and a proactive approach to account development are essential. This role would particularly suit someone with a larger-than-life personality who enjoys building long-term relationships and thrives in a customer-facing environment.
