The Opportunity
An established manufacturer with over 75 years of experience in design, production, supply, and installation is looking to recruit 2 Key Account Managers. UK supplier of high quality Kitchens with a strong reputation in the market, a down-to-earth culture, and invests in the development of its people.
This role focuses on managing and developing leads and enquiries from tender stage through to project handover. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the company’s range of Kitchens, maximising revenue and margin through proactive sales techniques, and building long-term relationships with clients
You will target relationships with existing housebuilder customers and drive new customer acquisition. Manage and progress enquiries from tender through to providing accurate and complete handovers to the installation team.
Key Responsibilities
Account Development
Build relationships with National Housebuilders & Developers
Engage with potential customers at all levels.
Work with key contacts to develop tailored solutions that add value.
Drive revenue and margin growth.
Business Planning & Reporting
Produce annual sales forecasts and business plans.
Develop account action plans with clear goals and objectives.
Record activity and maintain accuracy in CRM systems.
Provide regular monthly activity and performance reporting.
Sales Cycle Management
Manage enquiries through to final outcome.
Negotiate on pricing and proposals.
Arrange product samples and show homes where required.
Support project delivery in line with agreed processes.
Other Responsibilities
Negotiate price increases and manage pricing effectively.
Maintain strong market and competitor knowledge.
Candidate Profile
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Strong knowledge of routes to market.
Experience within kitchens, bathrooms, or bedrooms would be advantageous.
Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
Excellent networking and solution-selling skills.
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation ability.
Confident presenter with the ability to influence at all levels.
Able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
Reporting & KPIs
Ensure adherence to internal KPIs and analyse shortfalls where needed.
Keep internal systems accurate and updated.
Complete weekly and monthly reporting.
