    National Business Development Manager – Building Envelope Solutions

    The Company

    Our client is a market-leading manufacturer of high-performance building envelope solutions, supplying innovative products to some of the UK’s largest construction projects. With an impressive reputation for quality, technical expertise and innovation, the business works alongside major developers, contractors, architects and end users across a wide range of commercial sectors.

    The company is continuing to invest heavily in growth and is looking to appoint a commercially driven National Business Development Manager to help identify and secure major project opportunities across the UK.

    The Role

    This is a high-profile, project-led business development position responsible for generating new opportunities for a portfolio of premium building envelope systems, including roofing, cladding and façade solutions.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Identifying and securing major new-build and refurbishment projects.
    • Developing relationships with end users, developers, architects, main contractors and design teams.
    • Managing long sales cycles and complex, solution-based specifications.
    • Working closely with internal technical and commercial teams to deliver tailored solutions.
    • Building a strong pipeline of high-value projects across multiple market sectors.
    • Representing the business with professionalism and commercial credibility.

    Projects are typically large-scale, multi-million-pound developments involving nationally recognised organisations and blue-chip clients. Extensive travel and occasional overnight stays will be required.

    The Ideal Candidate

    We are looking for an ambitious, polished and commercially astute sales professional who has experience selling technical construction solutions.

    You will ideally have:

    • A proven track record within the construction products sector.
    • Experience selling through specification, developers, main contractors and/or major end users.
    • Strong project-led business development experience.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • A consultative, solution-selling approach.
    • Experience managing opportunities through CRM systems.
    • The drive and ambition to develop a long-term career with a market-leading organisation.

    Package

    • £60,000 – £70,000 Basic Salary dependent on experience
    • 25% Annual Bonus (OTE £87,500)
