    Courtney Smith Group has been appointed as sole recruitment partner to Festool UK in the search for an outstanding UK Country Manager.

    The Opportunity

    This is a high-profile leadership role with full responsibility for the sales strategy and sales teams across UK + Ireland.

    As UK Country Manager, you will:

    Lead all the UK + Ireland Sales functions

    Directly manage:

    External & Internal Sales force

    Key Account Manager

    Take ownership of key commercial decisions including:

    Customer strategy

    Key account development

    Dealer and distribution partnerships

    A core objective will be to expand and diversify the UK dealer network, strengthening trade with targeted National Distributors, stockists and Merchants while maintaining close collaboration with existing dealer partners and creating demand across the channel.

    🏫Location & Travel

    Head office: Bury St Edmunds

    Required: You will be expected to support and coach the external sales team with regular field visits in the UK and Ireland, up to 3 days per week. Rest of time based in either office or at home.

    Candidates must reside south of the M62 and East of Bristol.

    👓The Ideal Candidate

    We are seeking a commercially astute and inspirational senior leader who can demonstrate:

    Minimum 5 years’ successful Sales Management / Sales Director experience

    Strong commercial, operational, marketing and strategic sales capability

    Proven ability to lead, align and motivate cross-functional teams

    Excellent communication and customer-facing skills

    Degree education (preferred)

    Experience within Power Tools would be advantageous but not essential. Candidates from within the broader Construction sector with strong senior leadership credentials will be considered, providing you can demonstrate strong relationships with a Stockist base.
