A major UK manufacturer within the light gauge steel framing sector is looking to appoint a commercially focused leader to head up its Framing division.
This is a high-profile leadership role with responsibility for a multi million pound business unit, leading a team of 9 and driving profitable growth across specialist SFS and pre-panelised framing solutions used in commercial, healthcare, education, hospitality and large-scale construction projects.
You will take ownership of all sales and commercial activity across the division, improving margins, increasing sales volumes and strengthening key relationships across the specification chain.
πΉ The Role
β’ Lead and develop a high-performing commercial team
β’ Drive specification-led sales strategies across major projects
β’ Manage relationships with architects, Tier 1 contractors, structural engineers and specialist subcontractors
β’ Follow projects from specification through to completion
β’ Develop key accounts and strategic partnerships
β’ Ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act and evolving industry regulations
β’ Balance strategic leadership with hands-on commercial involvement

β’ Proven experience in specification sales within construction
β’ Technical understanding of framing systems and compliance requirements
β’ Knowledge of the Building Safety Act
β’ Commercial acumen with experience improving profitability and performance
β’ Firm but fair leadership style with the ability to mentor and develop teams
π Remotely based with a blend of office, customer-facing and strategic account activity.
