Sales Manager – Sports Coatings

Role

I am seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to drive sales as well as growing the sports coatings business in the retail and residential market. You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and providing excellent customer service. Approach sports coatings specialist contractors and specifiers to understand their needs. You will mainly work across a range of Sports Coatings products, as well as supporting with the companies other products in Resin Flooring, Cementitious screeds, Dry Shakes, and concrete repair. It is imperative that you identify business opportunities by approaching projects of various sizes and engaging with contractors, specifiers, applicators and end users. The products are used externally & internally for all sports.

The company specializes in developing, manufacturing, and marketing innovative construction materials, and offer one of the most extensive product ranges on the market. The products are very slip resistant so has unique selling points.

Person

My client is looking for at least 5 years of experience in sports coatings sales or similar industry – that could include a sales background in rubber or resin sports flooring, as this gives a good cross over. Ideally a degree in engineering as this is a technical sale and very much a solution sale.  You need to possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This is a national role so you need to live accessible to the main motorway networks.
