Dan joined the business in 2003 on the first day of trading as a consultant. Dan quickly progressed and he became a shareholder & Director in 2005. Dan was then responsible for  managing the entire sales operation for the business. In 2020 during a very difficult period, Dan then became Managing Director for Courtney Smith Group. Dan’s day-to-day responsibilities include managing the sales team together with the company’s long standing key accounts.

Prior to 2003, Dan worked as an Area Sales Manager in the construction industry for Yeoman Aggregates (now Aggregate Industries) and Hepworth Building Products (now Wavin Building Products)

Away from work; Dan has been married to Danielle since 2009 and has 3 sons; 1 of which is now working for the company in Callum. Dan is a passionate parent to his middle son Jack who plays a good standard of football for Ware EJA, and also watches is youngest lad Archie play in midfield for a local team in the Mid Herts division.  Dan loves his holidays and takes pride in his watches and premium whiskey collection.
